Type of lesson: communication of new knowledge

Aims of the lesson:

 to introduce vocabulary related to imaginary situations


 to talk about asking and giving advice
 to develop the student’s reading, listening, writing and speaking skills
Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to:
 to ask and give advice
 to use personality adjectives in sentences
 to employ the correct verb tense in the conditional sentence (second type)
Vocabulary: personality adjectives;
Function: Talk about personal dreams and ambitions, express personal opinions
Skills: reading, listening and speaking.
Teaching methods: explanation, conversation, exercise.

Resources required: students’ textbooks, blackboard, CD player, CD-s, worksheets

- Final: Through oral and written feed-back and homework

Ss may have problems in expressing their hopes and dreams in English.

Activity 1: T greets the pupils;

text is a dialogue. Ss read it pairs. T explains
