IAA600 Guidelines Semester 2, 2021

1. All students enrolled in Semester 2, 2021 are required to submit progress reports on
Moodle according to the rubrics.

2. Any student who was enrolled in Semester 1, 2021 and successfully completed the
attachment with completed logbook (signed and stamped) or completed 70% or More
before 26th July, 2021 has to provide the following:
- A reference letter from workplace,
- Logbook filled (signed and stamped) during attachment,
- Prepare and provide written evidence to justify that you have achieved the following
attributes during your attachment which reflects the learning outcome of the IAA600
unit:
- Safety, work ethics, practical procedures, and practices
- Problem identification, investigation, fault finding and analysis
- Methodology for engineering design and practices
- Engineering design, measurement, codes and standards
- Use of engineering machines, tools and software’s
- Sustainability of practical work in engineering environmental context
- Professional ethics and behavior, and norms of engineering practices
- Teamwork, initiative and creativity
- Communication skills and organizational skills
- Engineering management principles and technical knowledge

3. Any student who was enrolled in Semester 1 2021, and has completed Less than 70% of
the attachment before 26th July, 2021, the following will be required:
- Submit 70% of the progress report according to the rubrics on Moodle (that is
any 7 reports out of the 10 which relates to the work done during
attachment).
- Moodle access can be provided to students on request.
