Key Information
Verbs are ‘doing’ or ‘action’ words. Reflexive verbs usually refer to an action
we do to ourselves. The direct object of a reflexive verb (the person or
thing being affected by the verb or having the verb done to them) is the
same as its subject (the doer of the verb), for example 'I wash myself'.
