Sunday Gospel

Lesson 1: Crying on our problems alone will only worsen our well-being, instead we should seek
counsel to Jesus overcome OUR PROBLEMS and be victorious over it.

Explanation: Crying is an action that usually portrays vulnerability, it is an action that gives us comfort,
an action that makes our problem feel better. But in this gospel, Jesus portrays that crying alone is not
enough, we should not cry over our suffering instead, we should face and overcome the pain.

Lesson 2: God will help us rise from our sufferings and problems

Sometimes, we may feel alone, burnt out, depressed, and hopeless. I feel it too, and it’s a burden that
I carry everyday, I have no one with me but the message of this Gospel, it is in this gospel that I
learned that we should not immerse and overwhelm ourselves with the countless problems we
encounter, because it will just worsen everything, instead, we should trust and believe that God is
with us and he will help us rise from our sufferings and problems.
