TALAMBUHAY
nagtapos sa kursong Bachelor of Science and Agriculture sa Tarlac Agricultural University at
Jacinto kasalukuyan siyang nag-aaral ng kolehiyo sa kursong Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering major in Structural Engineering sa Tarlac State University.

balagtasan.
REFLECTION(2 ND
QUARTER )
The things that I have learned in this subject or quarter are characteristics of
function and linear function. When we say A linear function in it is a function that
can be represented by a straight line on a graph. It has the form f(x) = mx + b,
where m is the slope of the line and b is the y-intercept. The slope represents the
rate of change of the function, and the y-intercept represents the value of the
function when x = 0. Linear functions are important in Math 8 because they
provide a simple way to represent and analyze relationships between two variables.
And here are the characteristics of function based on what I have learned. In
this quarter, the characteristics of functions include: 1. Domain and Range: The
domain of a function is the set of all possible input values and the range is the set
of all possible output values. 2. Graph: Functions can be represented graphically,
showing the relationship between the input and output values. Different types of
functions have different shapes on the graph. 3. Linearity or Non-linearity:
Functions can be linear (straight line), quadratic (parabola), cubic, exponential, or
more complex curves. And lastly, 4. Slope and Intercepts: For linear functions,
characteristics such as slope (rate of change) and intercepts (x-intercept and y-
intercept) are important.
REPLEKSYON(2 ND

REFLECTION(2 ND
QUARTER )
Here are the things that I have learned in this quarter or subject. First things
that I have learned is the seismic waves, like what is primary waves, secondary
waves and what is surface waves.
Based on the discussion or based on what I have learned, Seismic waves are
waves of energy that are generated by the sudden release of energy within the
Earth's crust or upper mantle. They are typically caused by events such as
earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or other large-scale movements of the Earth's
crust. There are several types of seismic waves, including:
Primary waves (P-waves): These are the fastest seismic waves and are the
first to arrive at a seismograph after an earthquake. P-waves are able to travel
through solids, liquids, and gases, and they cause particles of the material they pass
through to vibrate in the same direction as the wave's propagation. Secondary
waves (S-waves): S-waves are slower than P-waves and arrive at the seismograph
after P-waves. They can only travel through solids and cause particles to vibrate
perpendicular to the direction of the wave's propagation.
Surface waves: These waves travel along the Earth's surface and are
responsible for the majority of the damage and destruction during an earthquake.
Surface waves are slower than P-waves and S-waves, but they have larger
amplitudes and can cause the ground to move in a rolling or swaying motion.
Seismic waves are crucial in the study of earthquakes and the Earth's
interior, as they provide valuable information about the nature and behavior of the
Earth's crust and mantle. They are also used in the field of seismology to help
scientists understand and predict earthquake activity and to study the structure of
the Earth's interior.
SCIENCE
REFLECTION(2 ND

The things that I have learned in this subject are seismic waves like the love
waves and what is Rayleigh waves. Also in this subject I learned what is tropical
cyclones is.
REPLEKSYON(2 ND

noong 46 BCE hanggang 44 BCE.
REFLECTION(2 ND
QUARTER )
One of the things that I have learned in this subject is Multimodal Text.
Based on my learnings Multimodal text refers to a form of communication that
utilizes multiple modes or channels of communication to convey a message. These
modes can include visual, auditory, spatial, gestural, and tactile elements, and they
work together to create a more complex and impactful means of expression. One
common example of multimodal text is the use of images, text, and sound in a
multimedia presentation. For instance, a PowerPoint presentation may include text,
images, and audio elements to convey a message or tell a story. Another example
is a web page, which may include text, images, videos, audio clips, and interactive
elements to engage and inform the audience. Multimodal texts are prevalent in our
digital age, as technology has made it easier to integrate different modes of
communication into a single piece of content. This has enabled creators to craft
more engaging and immersive experiences for their audience, whether through
websites, video games, presentations, or social media posts. One of the key
benefits of multimodal text is that it caters to different learning and communication
styles. For instance, some people may learn better through visual aids, while others
may prefer audio or kinesthetic elements. By incorporating multiple modes of
communication, creators can reach a wider audience and effectively convey their
message to diverse groups of people.
REFLECTION(2 ND
QUARTER )
In this quarter I learned what is Multimodal Text. Multimodal text refers to
any form of communication that combines two or more modes of communication,
such as written or spoken language, images, sound, and gestures. This can include
a wide range of media, including websites, advertisements, films, and even
everyday conversations. The use of multiple modes allows for a richer and more
complex form of communication, as it can convey information and meaning in
different ways simultaneously.
In multimodal texts, each mode contributes to the overall meaning and can
interact with other modes to create a more nuanced and layered message. For
example, in a film, the combination of dialogue, music, and visual imagery can
work together to convey emotions, themes, and narrative elements. Similarly, in a
website, the use of text, images, and interactive elements can provide a more
engaging and informative experience for the user. Multimodal text is an important
concept in the field of communication and media studies, as it reflects the
increasingly diverse and interconnected nature of contemporary communication.
Understanding how different modes of communication work together in
multimodal texts can help us analyze and interpret the complex messages that are
being conveyed in various media forms. Additionally, the use of multimodal
communication has become increasingly important in digital and online contexts,
as it allows for more dynamic and interactive forms of expression and engagement.
