the eastern edge of this Plateau.
2)This range is also called as Poorvadri.
3)The Eastern Ghats join the Western Ghats at the Nilgiri
hills, bordering Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
4)The Eastern Ghats are not continuous like the Western Ghats.
5)The rivers of Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna, Pennar and Kaveri have
dissected this range at many places.
6)The highest peak of Eastern Ghats is the Jindaghara peak
(1690mts.)
Saddle (737m) peak in north Andaman is
the highest peak.
