Hypsis and dryos are not included or counted in the 8 slot limit however they cannot exceed a
total of 10 slots combined when joining a mixed herd.
COMBAT RULES

[Combat logging is not permitted]

[Herbivores must not guard bodies and must move away to give carnivores the opportunity to
claim them]

[You may use the environment to your advantage during an engagement]

[If you are involved in an active engagement you are not allowed to body deny]

[If you kick someone from your group or someone leaves, you cannot hunt or kill them for 15
minutes]

[If you are killed by a group, you cannot return to attack or kill them out of spite or revenge]

[Third-party is not allowed. If you are not near your group when an engagement starts, you can
only participate if you are able to reach the engagement within 20 seconds of the first attack.
Reaching the engagement means you must be within 2 x your body length away. If you are not a
part of the engagement or either group, you are not allowed to participate]

[You cannot eat from a body if your group is still engaged in combat where body down has not yet
applied]

[You must not attack, stalk or hunt the same group within 15 minutes once an engagement with
them has taken place]

[A 4 call does not protect you unless body down has already applied after an engagement has
started]

[A 2 call does not provide protection with the exception of the scavenger rule and the nesting
rule]

[All combat must stop 5 minutes before server restart to allow players time to safelog]
BODY DOWN

Body down includes a maximum of ONE of the following:

[1 x Adult sized body – Stego, Deino, Carno, Teno, Pachy]

[2 x Adult sized utah bodies]
[2 x Under adult sized bodies]

[1 x adult pteranodon body or 2 x under adult pteranodon bodies if claimed by pteranodons]

What counts as an adult sized body:

+Deino and stego – 50% or more
+Carno, utah, teno, pachy, ptera – 75% or more

Dryo and hypsi do not count as body down for any species.
Pteranodon bodies count as body down for pteranodons only.

Body down claiming:

[If you or your group get body down or eat from a body, it is automatically claimed by you and the
engagement must stop. You must stay with the body for 15 minutes or until the body is gone –
whichever comes first]

[In the case where one juvi utah and one adult utah is killed, one more of either size is allowed to
drop before the engagement must stop]

[One body can be claimed and will provide body down protection, but the fight or hunt must stop
if the maximum limits are reached]

[If you get attacked or charged while carrying or dragging your claimed body, dropping the body
after the attack has started will not protect you. Only if you drop the body or bodies prior to an
oncoming attack will the body protections come back into effect in which case you must be
contested]

[You cannot give food to players if they are another species or not in your group]

[Body down protections apply up to 2 x the length of your dinosaur away from the claimed body]

[You must stay by a pteranodon body for 15 minutes or until finished, if it was won through
contest]
SEMI-AQUATIC DINOS

[Deinos are allowed to run back to water even if an engagement started on land as this is their
natural habitat. The other party is allowed to pursue the deinos into the water at their own risk]

[Deinos are allowed to take bodies back to the water even if the body dropped on land.
Contesting and body down rules apply]

[Deinos are only allowed to bait using bodies that do not count as body down]

[Deinos are allowed to interfere with an active engagement, if the engagement goes to or in the
water. If the deino gets a kill through interference, this only counts as body down for the deino
and the engagement can continue against the hunted group until body down applies for the
original hunting party]

[If interfering with a hunt that goes to or into water, deinos must not follow the engagement onto
land further than the bank of the river]

CONTESTING RULES

[If you approach someone on a body, you are not allowed to attack on sight]

[To contest for a body you must 3 call and you must give enough time for a response. If there is
no response after 10 seconds you then have the right to engage]

[If contested for a body, each individual of the group being contested must respond with one of
the following within 10 seconds]
4 call:
[You forfeit your right to fight for the claimed body and must leave the engagement]

[A 4 call will provide you protection to get away only if it is your first response]
[A 4 call is final and you cannot change your mind]
3 call:
[You accept the challenge and will fight for the body]

[This fight must stop once body down applies again]

[4 calling after accepting a challenge for a body will not provide you protection]
[All bodies down including the original are claimed to the winning group and the original timer
applies]
[If you or your group lose the contest after engagement, you cannot contest for any of the bodies
and you must leave the area]
SCAVENGERS

[As scavengers, pteranodons are allowed to 2 call those who have a claimed body or they can
choose to try and eat from a claimed body without 2 calling at their own risk]

[If they are met with a 2 call from all owners of the claimed body, they are allowed to eat from
the body without the risk of being killed]

[The owners of the body are not allowed to kill the pteranodons if they grant them permission to
eat with a 2 call]

[Pteranodons are not allowed to scout for carnivores under any circumstances and are not
allowed to let carnivores know where bodies or players are]

[Pteranodons are allowed to follow carnivores around for food, but they cannot 1 call, 3 call or 4
call while doing so as this will be considered scouting or mixpacking]

[Pteranodons are allowed to snatch hatchlings from nests without a 3 call at their own risk,
outside of their species]

[Pteranodon bodies count as body down for pteranodons and you must stay with the body down
for 15 minutes or until the body is finished. Body down protections and contesting rules apply]

[Body down for pteranodons is as follows]

[1 x adult body (75% or above) or 2 x under adult bodies]

[Outside of pteranodon bodies, pteranodons cannot claim any body]

HERBIVORE AGGRESSION

+Herbivores are not allowed to be aggressive without justification.

+Herbivores are allowed to engage each other through agreed combat. Both parties
must 3 call each other in order to show their mutual agreement to participate in a
fight. The fight must stop if body down applies.

+If a predator is within closing distance - 2 x your body length away - herbivores
can 3 call to warn the predator to move on. The herbivores must give the
carnivores 10 seconds to respond. If no response is given or they do not leave,
the herbivores may then 3 call again before they are allowed to attack.

+Any member of an active hunt against herbivores may choose to individually forfeit their
participation by 4 calling. If you choose to 4 call during the engagement, you must remove
yourself from the situation and leave the area. You are not allowed to change your mind or return
to the hunt. A 4 call is final.
+If the herbivores succeed by getting body down, they must not body guard and must move on
and the hunters can then choose to claim the body that was dropped by the herbivores. Body
down rules apply.

+Once a hunt is over, whether the carnivores or herbivores succeed, the herd is safe from those
hunters for 15 minutes.

NESTING RULES
[When hunting a nesting party, the nest and hatchlings on the nest are off limits]

[If a hunting group targets a nesting party, they must 3 call and allow the parents at least 10
seconds to respond and the parents must get off of the nest within this time-frame. The hunt can
then commence]

[If there is a body on or close to a herbivore nest that a carnivore wants to claim, the carnivore
must approach the nesting herbivores slowly and 2 call. The herbivores must 2 call in response
and allow the carnivore to move to the body. Once the body is finished, the carnivore must move
away from the area and must not attack or hunt that nesting party for 15 minutes after the body
is finished]

[If the carnivore is able to drag or carry the body away they must move the body away from
the nest to eat it]
[If the body is too big to drag or carry, the carnivore is allowed to eat the body where it lies]
[The carnivore must not attack the nest, hatchlings or herbivores at any point]

[No nest hopping or joining nests to waste eggs]

[Nests can only be destroyed if no parents are in sight]

TERRITORIAL RULES FOR DESIGNATED NESTING GROUNDS

Dedicated nesting grounds may be claimed and protected. To protect your territory, you must 3
call first to give the players outside of your herd a warning. If they do not leave, another 3 call
must be sounded before attacks can commence.

Herbivore rule:
+As a herbivore you are allowed to chase them until they are out of sight of the nesting ground.

+Bodies down can still be claimed in a dedicated nesting ground that is claimed by herbivores.
Claiming the body sets a temporary truce between the nesting herbivores and the carnivores.
Once the body is finished or the 15 minute timer expires, the herd must let the carnivores leave.
The ones who claimed the body must move on and must not attack the nesting group for 15
minutes after the body has finished.

Carnivore rule:
[If a body drops on a dedicated nesting ground that is claimed by another group, the hunting
party automatically has claim to the body and cannot be chased from the nesting ground as
body down rules apply]
[The carnivores who have claim to the territory may choose to contest for the body. If they win
the contest for the body, the hunting group must then leave the area. If the hunting party wins
the challenge, the nesting group must leave them alone while they eat. After the body is finished
or the body down timer expires, both groups are not allowed to attack or hunt each other for 15
minutes]

OTHER RULES

[No spawn killing]

[No offensive usernames]

[No disrespecting staff]

[No location dropping in any chats]

[Do not return to the group that attacked or killed you to instigate]

[No tricking people in VC or any form of text to find out locations with the malicious intent of
attacking or killing them regardless of species.]
