Narrator: Once upon a time, there lived an old man and old woman.
Each day the old man went into the mountain to gather firewood.
(Eating)
Old woman: If we only had a child, maybe they're playing with those
other kids outside.
Narrator: The old man went to mountain to cut grass and the old
woman took some clothes to the river to wash.
Narrator: While Washing clothes, the old woman saw something in the
river
Old woman: Hmmm, this is delicious, I must get some of these for my
husband.
Narrator: The old woman picked up the peach and carried it back to her
house.
Old man: I'm home. Oh! what a giant peach! Where did you get that?
Old woman: When I was doing the washes, I saw this peach floated at
the river and I decided to bring it home for you to eat.
Old man: Well, well! Thank you very much. Here's the knife, let's cut it.
Narrator: As the old woman started to cut the peach, the giant peach,
suddenly a baby boy appeared inside the giant peach.
Narrator: So the two decided to take care the baby born from the
peach and name him MOMOTARO or Peach Boy
When peach boy eat one bowl of rice, he grew much bigger.
And when He ate two bowls and grew twice as big. And soon he grew
as great boy. ( Scene of momotaro eating rice)
Peach boy grew strong and smart with a very kind heart. He is taller
than other boys and had a very handsome face. That's why the old man
and old woman loved him very much. ( Scene of Momotaro playing
with kids)
Narrator: One day while peach boy was spitting a firewood, he saw a
bird flying
Bird: Oh Peach Boy, go over the mountain through the valley and
across the sea to Demon Island and conquer the Demons.
Narrator: The demon island was a strong hold with a bond of monsters
called Onis. These Demons attack and grab people they find and they
also cannibal and kill people. (Scene of demons attacking town of
people)
(When Momotaro here what demons do, he told to his parents that he
decided to conquer and kill them and bring back back all the plunder
that they rob to the people. )
Momotaro: But I want to conquer them so they cannot rob and killed
people again.
Momotaro: Father, I'm a big boy and I'm sure I can easily conquer
those demons.
Narrator: The old man gave Peach Boy a new pants and coat and a
paired of sandals. He also gave sword together with fabulous flag.
( Scene)
The old woman cooked dumplings so that Momotaro can take it in his
journey. (Scene)
Old woman: Here take it, eat one of these and you will have the
strength of a hundred mens.
Old man: Take care Momotaro, promise us you will be back here.
Momotaro: I will!
Momotaro: This is millet dumplings and eating one of this gives you the
strength of a hundred mens.
Dog: May I have one of that and I will join you to your journey
Narrator: So the dog eat the millet dumpling and join him in his way.
When peach boy and the dog went deep in the mountain, a monkey
approach them.
Monkey: Peach Boy Peach Boy, where are you going with such a
fabulous sandals?
Momotaro: This is millet dumplings and eating one of this gives you the
strength of a hundred mens.
Narrator: When Peach Boy, the dog and the monkey were going
through the valley, a pheasant flew up to them.
Bird: Peach Boy Peach Boy where are you going with such a fantastic
flag, I'm very curious won't you tell me?
Momotaro: This is millet dumplings and eating one of this gives you the
strength of a hundred mens.
Narrator: Peach Boy and his group went over many mountains through
the valley
Bird: The Demons are taking a nap right now and it's all quiet.
( The monkey climb over the gate and open the gate inside)
( The dog, monkey and pheasant also attack and defeat some of the
Demons)
Narrator: One of the Demons skipped and went to their master and tell
what happen
Demon: Master Master , Peach Boy and his group are attacking us.
Momotaro: I am Peach Boy , I was born from Peach and I'm here to
conquer you!
( Peach Boy wounded the demon and his group help him)
( The dog bite the demon, the monkey wounded the demon through his
sharp nails. And finally defeat the demon)
Narrator: Peach Boy and his group sailed back over the sea, through
the valley and over the mountains back to their home.
( The old man and woman were delighted and welcomed home Peach
Boy. Peach Boy shared the treasure to the villages )
Narrator: From that day, the Demons never bother anyone again and
they live happily ever after.
