Traffic education is important for people in the world. Some people don’t
know anything for the traffic signal and traffic light. Traffic light indicates drivers
to slow down when they are go fast. In the busy street, it helps drivers to know
when to stop and when to drive. A passers-by who is walking along the road but
he needs to cross it, the traffic light can helps him. Having a traffic light in a very
busy street is important. It could be an lifesaver for the passer-by and even for
the drivers. It guides the drivers when their need to stop and when they need to
drive. It is a very useful things for us. We all need to learn the proper use of traffic
lights. When it turns red the vehicles stop and people can walk and crosses the
street at that time. Thus, by learning traffic education at least we could reduce the
number of accidents around us.

Good morning to all teachers and my friends. Together with the school anti-
smoking programmes, I, as the Head Prefect, would like to give a speech on the topic
“The Disadvantages of smoking and Tips to stop Smoking.”
It seems today that most of the teenagers including some of us here think that
smoking is something common and that it is something that we do not have to worry
about. In fact, there are among us here today who do not realize that they are breaking
the school rules when they do that and they are actually not good for their health.
Allow me to tell you the fact that smoking actually brings so many disadvantages.
Firstly, smoking is not good for your health and can lead to diseases like cancer and
heart problems. You do not want to end your life like that. Besides, it is a waste of
money. Students always use their pocket money to buy cigarettes. Moreover, when
they start smoking, they might have problem in concentrating in their studies.
Here, I would like to share with all of you some tips on how to stop smoking. The
first way on how students can stop smoking is by concentrating their energy to studies.
You should also be in the company of non-smokers as to avoid yourself from being
around with those who smoke.
