How to learn your vocabulary !

o First of all ! listen carefully in class, and participate ! Be active !

o Write the new words several times
o Why not try a « home-made » test ! then check your answers.
o You can classify the words into several word « boxes »
 For example, all the words containing “pen” like pen, pencil, pencil
case, pencil holder, pencil sharpener
 Or a word box with all the objects you have in your pencil case like
rubber, pen, crayon, pencil, …
 Or objects you find in a classroom : computer, chair, blackboard…
