Cereal Options (High Fibre)

Trail Mix (Servings: 6)


 1 cup raw cashews (slices)
 1 cup raw almonds (slices)
 1 cup oat (large) flakes
 ½ cup dried raisins/cranberries
 ½ raw pumpkin seeds
 1 box of Cheerios/Bran Sticks/Bran Flakes
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Toss and serve. Store in sealed container, last up to 4
weeks.
This can be server warm or cold using yogurt or milk.

Greek Yogurt and Granola


Ingredients
 3 cups oats
 1 cup mixed nuts including almonds or cashews
 ½ cup sesame seeds
 ½ cup sunflower seeds
 ½ cup raisins
 ½ cup dried cranberries
 1 cup dried ready-to-eat prunes/dates chopped
To serve
 Semi-skimmed milk or non-dairy milk
 Top with chopped fresh seasonal fruit, such as pears, banana, pineapple, papya, and
grapes
Directions
 Tip the oats into a large airtight container and add the nuts, seeds, raisins and
cranberries. Stir in the apricots.
 To serve, spoon a portion into a bowl, pour over the milk and top with chopped fresh
fruit.
