    SKILL-

    Replicate and continue a pattern.

    PREP-

    Print off the cards. For extra durability, print on cardstock and laminate. Cut the cards along the lines to
    separate.

    Provide students with a container of LEGO blocks.

    There are 2 sets of cards. 1 set has four colors of LEGO blocks, and 1 set has 5 colors of LEGO blocks.

    ACTIVITY-

    Students will pick up a card and read the LEGO colors out loud. For example, “yellow, yellow, green.”

    For younger students, have them replicate the pattern below the card and then add on to it with thei r LEGO
    blocks.

    For older students, have them i mmediately add on to the pattern with thei r LEGO blocks.

    Play continues until all the cards have been completed.
