I have watched “The Dark Knight” a couple of times and in my opinion it is one of

the most entertaining action films I have ever seen. It combines a lot of terrific
fight scenes with constant tension and actors like Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne /
Batman), Michael Caine (Alfred Pennyworth), Heath Ledger (The Joker), Gary
Oldman (James Gordon), Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent / Two-Face), Morgan
Freeman (Lucius Fox) and others.

The film is set in the present, in Gotham city, where the billionaire Bruce Wayne
grows up without his parents, but with his butler - Alfred. While Bruce grows up,
he learns martial arts and makes a suit with which he can fight criminals and
protect his city. The plot becomes even more gripping when the main villain – The
Joker comes and Batman must stop him. The cast performs at the highest level all
the time, which makes the movie even more interesting.

If you are not an action film fan and you don’t like comics-based stories you may
not like the film that much, but the acting and the cinematography are really good
and it is worth seeing it.
