    Whom to Treat

    ● Adults who test positive via rapid antigen test or PCR ● Even without risk factors, adults who test

    How to Treat COVID-19 Therapeutic Management of Nonhospitalized Adults

    Preferred therapies, listed in order of preference: Alternative therapy, for use


    when the preferred therapies are
    Nirmatrelvir + Ritonavir not available, feasible to use, or
    clinically appropriate:
    300 mg + 100 mg PO BID x 5 days
    (use 150 mg + 100 mg PO BID x 5 days for eGFR ≥30-<60 mL/min); Molnupiravir
    do not administer if eGFR <30 mL/min
    800 mg PO Q12H x 5 days;
    Remdesivir no dosage adjustment necessary for
    renal dysfunction
    200 mg IV on Day 1 followed by 100 mg IV on Days 2 and 3;
    no dosage adjustment necessary for renal dysfunction
