Scholar Program Guideline

4th Semester Students


AY 2023-24

The Objective of Scholar Program:

• The objectives of a scholar test aim to assess a student's understanding, knowledge, critical thinking
abilities, and aptitude in the computer programming skills in order to get in-campus placements.
• Shortlisted Students will get opportunity for early guidance and training for securing a good job during
the campus placements.

Exam Details (Syllabus, Total Marks & Date):

Syllabus:
The following Subjects(As per PU Syllabus) will be assessed in the exam:
1. C Language (Weightage 20%)
2. DBMS (Weightage 20%)
3. DSA (Weightage 20%)
4. Java Programming (Weightage 20%)
5. Aptitude-Verbal, Quant, Reasoning (Weightage 20%)
Note : Sample question paper along with expected answers, will be provided via email soon.
Total Marks: 60
Date of Exam: 12th January 2024.

Selection Criteria:

A written test will be conducted on Friday, 12th January’24. Which includes,


• 60% - Written Test Result
• 20% - Weightage will be given to the CGPA
• 20% - Cumulative score in the 4th Sem ByteXL Coding Challenges conducted on ByteXL Platform till
13th January 24.

Example: if you have a score of 40 in the written test, have a CGPA of 7, and the overall score in the coding
challenges is 25. Your merit score in this case will be : 40*60% + 7*20% + 25*20% = 30.4

Note: A merit list of the shortlisted students will be announced for scholar program and further divided into A
and A+ batches.
