How to initialize the CODE 39 (without checking) sample barcode for BS-400
I. If the CODE 39 sample barcode has fixed digits, you could do as follow:
1. Barcode initialization
Run the Debug software, and choose “Bar code”“Sample Bar code”, and then click the “initialize”, as the
picture below:

Fig1. Barcode initialization

Note: If "Bar code initialization failure" pops up in this procedure, please check cable connection between the
barcode reader and the Three Disk Drive Board.
2. Shake hands
This step is for checking the communication is OK or not. After clicking "shake hands", if the instruction area
shows the result as "{<K100,5,1,0,1>}", it means the communication succeeds. If not, please check the cables
and try again.

4. Save the instruction.

5. Run the Operation Software and scan the sample barcodes, then the CODE 39 sample barcodes
with different digits (without checking) will be displayed.

Fig8. The CODE 39 sample Barcode with 7 digits (without checking) is scanned too
NOTE:
1) The letters in the instruction“<K470,1,0,0,0,0,0,1>” and “<Z>” are capital letters, not lowercase letters;
2) After setting according to above, only CODE 39 sample barcode could be scanned for this BS-400. If you
want to scan the other kind of barcode, you could execute the initialization again as the Fig.1.above, because
these two statuses could not coexist.
