MR-96A Guide to Adjust Pre-amplified and Post-amplified Voltage

Important:
Before you execute the change below, make sure you have been authorized by Mindray.
Otherwise you should take full responsibility for all of probable consequence, even though the
machine is under warranty.
Executing procedure:
1. Remove the two screws in front of the machine, as shown below.

2. Open the upper panel and remove the three screws of shelf, as shown below.

3. Remove shelf.

4. Cover the analog board, just keep out the measuring area, as shown below.

5. Power on the machine, and wait for 10 minutes to ensure light source is stable.
6. Check the pre-amplification voltage of all wavelengths according to the following method,
-11.5 V~-
the acceptable range is between- -3.0V.

Connect the black probe of multimeter to the AGND pin or AGND2 pin while connect the
red probe to the R63, R64, R65, R66, R67, R68, R69, R70 one by one (on the left side of the
resistances).

If any pre-amplified voltage is >-3.0V, please change a higher light transmittance filter.
If any pre-amplified voltage is <-11.5V, please change the lamp and test again.

7. Choose the wavelength of largest absolute voltage value and make filter wheel work in this
wavelength.
8. Measure the post-amplified voltage voltage one by one according the following method.

Connect the black probe of the multimeter to AGND pin or AGND2 pin while connect the
red probe to the V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8 , as shown below.

Adjust the potentiometer to make sure all the voltage values of the 8 post-amplified voltage
voltages are between 1.9V~2V.
9. Fix the shell and cover.
