The Business Studies Question Paper is split into TWO Question Papers:
• Paper 1 – This Question Paper will assess the Main Topics: Business Environments & Business Operations
• Paper 2 – This Question Paper will assess the Main topics: Business Ventures & Busines Roles
Below find the Main Topics and Topics included in this Revision Booklet:
Please note the following regarding the different Sections the Question Papers consist of:
Section A Different types of short and objective questions are set using various assessment styles and covers
the contents of both Paper 1 and Paper 2, e.g. Multiple choice questions, Match columns and Select
the correct word term
Section B These questions cover the contents of both Paper 1 and Paper 2, covered during the year. Answers
should be in paragraph style. Applicable verbs, e.g. discuss, motivate, compare, differentiate, explain,
etc. Case studies (scenarios) or source-based questions will be included.
Section C These are higher cognitive questions which assess insight and interpretation of theoretical
knowledge. (E.g. design, plan, appraise, evaluate, etc.). Answers should be in paragraph style.

• Although many candidates performed well in Q 6.7, some provided very general
statements on strategies to deal with HIV/Aids and others provided negative strategies on
