Listen, as humans it’s hard for us to


hit refresh or remove things from our
life.

Having the willpower to focus on


looking at the big picture of your life
takes guts.

I continue to come back to five key


things in my life that help me reset.

Here are the 5 things that help me:

1: Building daily rhythm

On Sunday I set aside 30 minutes


to plan out the week.

I do this every Sunday.

This gives me clarity on what each


day which in turn decreases my
stress level.

2: Mental & physical health

I always thought that going to the


gym was the only thing that I
needed to work out.

Your brain is the biggest muscle in


your body. It’s important to spend
time taking care of your mind (just
as much as your body)

Daily cold plunge & meditation is


what I’ve found to work for me.

3: Finding your community (epic)

The first Tuesday of every month, I


have a Men’s group meeting.

I look forward to it every month.

It gives me an outlet with other men


who need a space to share
whatever is on their mind.

We have themes of what to focus on


/ work on.

4: Core relationships

As I get older, I find that having less


friends (not more) is the key to
happiness.

The less input coming at you to


manage, the better you’ll feel in life.

It’s really that simple (for me).

5: Therapy

If someone would have told my 21


year old self that therapy was a key
to happiness, I would have started
going a lot earlier.

This is an outlet that keeps me on


the tracks.

I went off the tracks in 2021 and I


don’t plan on doing that again.
