अथ च ं समाधातुं न श ो ष म य रम् I
अ ासयोगेन ततो मा म ा तुं धन य II

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My
dear Arjuna, O winner of wealth, if you cannot fix
your mind upon Me without deviation, then follow
the regulative principles of bhakti-yoga. In this
way develop a desire to attain Me.

अ ासेऽ समथ ऽ स म मपरमो भव ।
मदथम प कमा ण कुव मवा स॥

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: If you cannot
practice the regulations of bhakti-yoga, then just try to work
for Me, because by working for Me you will come to the
perfect stage.

सवयो नषु कौ ेय मूतय: स व या: ।
तासां मह ो नरहं बीज द: पता ॥

understood that all species of life, O son of Kuntī, are made

all circumstances, at once transcends the modes of

am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is
immortal, imperishable and eternal and is the

नमानमोहा जतस दोषा अ ा न ा व नवृ कामा: ।
ै वमु ा: सुखदु:खसं -
ै ग मूढा: पदम यं तत् ॥

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Those who are
free from false prestige, illusion and false association, who
understand the eternal, who are done with material lust, who
are freed from the dualities of happiness and distress, and
who, unbewildered, know how to surrender unto the Supreme
Person attain to that eternal kingdom.

न त ासयते सूय न शशा को न पावक: ।

supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun
or moon, nor by fire or electricity. Those who reach

ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन: ।

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The
living entities in this conditioned world are My
eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life,

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: I am seated in
everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance,
knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be
known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedānta, and I am the
knower of the Vedas.

यो मामेवमस ूढो जाना त पु षो मम् ।
स सव व ज त मां सवभावेन भारत ॥

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Whoever knows
Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, without
doubting, is the knower of everything. He therefore engages
himself in full devotional service to Me, O son of Bharata.
