BG 9.25
yānti deva-vratā devān
pitṝn yānti pitṛ-vratāḥ
bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā
yānti mad-yājino ’pi mām

Those who worship the demigods

will take birth among the
demigods; those who worship the
ancestors go to the ancestors;
those who worship ghosts and
spirits will take birth among such
beings; and those who worship Me
will live with Me.
BG 8.16

ā-brahma-bhuvanāl lokāḥ
punar āvartino ’rjuna
mām upetya tu kaunteya
punar janma na vidyate
From the highest planet in the
material world down to the
lowest, all are places of misery
wherein repeated birth and
death take place. But one who
attains to My abode, O son of
Kuntī, never takes birth again.
BG 7.23

antavat tu phalaṁ teṣāṁ

tad bhavaty alpa-medhasām
devān deva-yajo yānti
mad-bhaktā yānti mām api

Men of small intelligence

worship the demigods, and
their fruits are limited and
temporary. Those who
worship the demigods go to
the planets of the demigods,
but My devotees ultimately
reach My supreme planet.
BG 8.19

bhūta-grāmaḥ sa evāyaṁ
bhūtvā bhūtvā pralīyate
rātry-āgame ’vaśaḥ pārtha
prabhavaty ahar-āgame

Again and again, when

Brahmā’s day arrives, all
living entities come into
being, and with the arrival
of Brahmā’s night they are
helplessly annihilated.
BG 7.19
bahūnāṁ janmanām ante
jñānavān māṁ prapadyate
vāsudevaḥ sarvam iti
sa mahātmā su-durlabhaḥ

After many births and deaths,

he who is actually in
knowledge surrenders unto
Me, knowing Me to be the
cause of all causes and all that
is. Such a great soul is very
rare.
BG 8.28
vedeṣu yajñeṣu tapaḥsu caiva
dāneṣu yat puṇya-phalaṁ
pradiṣṭam
atyeti tat sarvam idaṁ viditvā
yogī paraṁ sthānam upaiti cādyam

A person who accepts the path of

devotional service is not bereft of
the results derived from studying
the Vedas, performing sacrifices,
undergoing austerities, giving
charity or pursuing philosophical
and fruitive activities. Simply by
performing devotional service, he
attains all these, and at the end he
reaches the supreme eternal
abode.
BG 10.8
ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo
mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṁ
budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ

I am the source of all spiritual

and material worlds.
Everything emanates from
Me. The wise who perfectly
know this engage in My
devotional service and
worship Me with all their
hearts.
BG 14.18
ūrdhvaṁ gacchanti sattva-sthā
madhye tiṣṭhanti rājasāḥ
jaghanya-guṇa-vṛtti-sthā
adho gacchanti tāmasāḥ

Those situated in the mode

of goodness gradually go
upward to the higher planets;
those in the mode of passion
live on the earthly planets;
and those in the abominable
mode of ignorance go down
to the hellish worlds.
BG 15.6
na tad bhāsayate sūryo
na śaśāṅko na pāvakaḥ
yad gatvā na nivartante
tad dhāma paramaṁ
mama

That supreme abode of

Mine is not illumined by
the sun or moon, nor by fire
or electricity. Those who
reach it never return to this
material world.
