THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Background of the Study

In the different preferences, tastes, and demands of each of the

consumers and continuously expanding their choices, would a public park be

enough place to cater to all of those needs?

The public park is an open land designated for different engagements

such as recreational activities, food, and opportunities. It allows people to

develop their sense of community, reduce stress, and promote relaxation,

offers a variety of cuisines to meet different preferences, and provides

opportunities for local vendors.

A public park will only run smoothly with the help of the right system.

A proper system will manage its operating, financing, and marketing

activities effectively and efficiently, leading to its success.

10

Limay Park is located at Reformista Limay, Bataan. As of now, it is

under construction, resulting in an incomplete system that lacks a systematic

framework leading to inefficiencies and different challenges in terms of

business management and improvement of the park itself. With the ongoing

development, the park continues to operate food stalls, a bay walk, cottages,

a playground for recreational activities, benches for relaxation, and various

government facilities. As the construction progresses it can provide public

space for residents and visitors.

other food parks have in different places . We also discover the usual types

of foods that are served in food parks.

Total Quality Management is an approach that should be embraced by

businesses. Its purpose is to achieve their long term goal while satisfying the

needs of the consumers. It has been one of the most prominent

management principles as it has caught academic interest and acceptability

in the business world. (Rahman & Bullock, 2014)

Public Park is an innovative school canteen that caters to all the needs of

the citizens. According to research that is conducted in 160 organizations,

success can be achieved when the marketing Strategies are properly

executed. There are 5 types of marketing strategies, Branding is the identity

of the store itself, product and services. Promotion, according to Ward it is

the bridge that connects the vendors and consumers that benefits both

sides. Visual Merchandising means that consumers can be attracted by the

overall appearance of the store and products. (Gupta & Ward, et al. 2020)

Remize (2014) explains the hygienic aspects of street food vending as a

major concern for food control officers. Ensuring proper hygiene is essential,

as it significantly impacts the safety of street food. Maintaining cleanliness is

crucial to prevent contamination and ensure the overall safety of the food
21

being sold. Neglecting hygienic aspects can pose risks, leading to potential

health concerns and regulatory issues for street food vendors.

The tourism industry should focus on how to accomplish the satisfaction of

the visitors. They can upgrade the amenities to incorporate convenience,

dining, and accessibility Dewi et al., (2017). Research conducted by Turapan

(2019) proved that Amenities has a huge part in fulfilling the needs and

wants of the guests.

Cash flow management is the tracking and controlling of how money

comes in and out of a business in order to properly estimate the cash flow

needs. As conducted by Guliman and Uy (2019), Encouraging Higher

Financial Literacy recommends that Filipino micro and small entrepreneurs

need to advance their financial literacy. The level of financial knowledge has

an impact on their capabilities to make the right decisions (Haaving, 2019).

In addition, the recommendation is supported by Burchi et al. Al (2021), who

stated that financial literacy focuses on a strong relationship with

entrepreneurs, therefore policymakers should consider investing in more

economic and entrepreneurial training.
