Kevin Long Mick Medhurst Tina Woolmer Chris Martin Louise Locke Lisa Swain Approve minutes of AGM Minutes were approved. Matters arising David suggested website can be used for matters arising. Frank will be training KS and JB on the use of the website. The Committee expressed gratitude to David for staying on as treasurer for another year. Kent training money needs to be passed to treasurer as soon as possible. Once squad selected, each member needs to pay even if they do not train. 5 per session. If a player fails to pay for 3 training sessions, they will be dropped and their place offered to someone else. If additional training is needed, the squad will be asked to pay. Please could clubs send an email to remind their members to take money to Kent training. First aid kits are needed at each Kent training, the cost of which should be shared between the clubs.

KKA will purchase first aid kits, Phil will look at stocking them and Jane will investigate pound shops for ice packs. It was decided that County flashes will be supplied to both A and B squads in the U11 and U14 age group. U16 and U19 will receive certificates. A Roll of Honour will be produced on the Kent website. Kent managers need to inform Frank of the names of squad. Bank signatories David Hubbard and Phil Locke are current signatories, a third is needed. Karen Snow to be added. Finance report 15% increase in fees for this year. KKA are subsidising by about 700. Income from clubs should equal cost of hall hire. KKA are unlikely to make a profit this year. Jackie bought 20 skills awards and will need to order more. Posts; competition posts needed at Medway Park. It was suggested that KKA pay half the cost and the Kent clubs involved would pay the balance, which would equate to 110 each. Medway Park are happy to store the posts. Ross suggested collapsible posts be purchased for either Holmesdale or Mallings as juniors use these and that the posts already at either Holmesdale or Mallings can be taken to Medway Park. Two piece posts cost 649.94, Four piece posts cost 669.94. Bill offered to collect the posts from Biggin Hill to save the 60 delivery charge. Youth Development We need volunteers to go into schools. David suggested a development plan. KKA youth development officer to meet with each clubs youth development officer to see what actions are being taken. Frank stated that the aim of the schools tournament will be for the winners to go through to a National final. Inter-area Norwich Will be held on 29 30 January 2012 at UEA sportspark Saturday will be U16 and U19 Sunday will be U11 and U14 Need to discuss transport at next meeting. The Kent flashes will be needed by this date.

Also need to find out who is interested in going to Almere next year. Review MGV Committee felt it went well, however next time we need to ensure payment is received from everyone and that it is advertised more widely. Referrees A scheme has been introduced to improve the standard and number of referees in EKA. Frank has arranged level one course, 13 people will be attending, level two course, 20 people will be attending. The EKA have introduced development points. 100 bond will be posted for the first season, if the club does not meet the required number of referees, bond will be lost. The following season will be 200, the season after that club could get evicted from EKA. Serl referees are not recognised. Frank agreed with the principle but can see flaws and will produce a draft paper confirming exactly what is required and forward to clubs. Club issues Bromley Bill wants to be able to play in adult games in London and has put in a request to have some junior games moved on Sunday 23 Oct 2011. Karen Snow to email Kevin to request this. (NB this had been amended before email could be sent). Child Protection Officer Jane to check with Dot Mcadam to see whether she is prepared to remain as CPO. Tornadoes Kingfisher put in a complaint about Paula Steel starting two games for different teams on the same day. Ross to investigate. A.O.B There may be a complaint from Mitchem against KV as someone has posted comments on forum. KV has committee meeting on Wednesday (19 Oct 2011) and this will be raised.
