To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter to give my highest recommendation for Dalia Abarca. I have known Dalia
for about three years. She was in my Spanish for Spanish Speakers classes two years in a row.
Dalia has been able to achieve tremendous growth and development. She has been able to grow
in maturity and character as well. Based on her grades (4.14 GPA), attendance, and class
participation, I would rate her academic performance in my class as superior.

Dalia has immense strengths. She is a good-natured and well-disciplined person. She has a
positive attitude toward her studies and always tries very hard to improve herself. She is
industrious and eager to learn. She is intuitive and motivated. Dalia possesses an immense
passion for learning. She is self-motivated, trustworthy, and outgoing.

One of Dalia’s long term goals is to attend a four year university, and become a publisher. She
always shows great initiative and diligence; she is able to develop intelligent plans and
implement them successfully. I am very proud of Dalia because she will be the second one in her
family to attend college, but the first one to graduate from college. I firmly believe Dalia
possesses the necessary skills and talent to accomplish all her goals.

Dalia has also contributed to the well-being of her school and community. She has been an active
member of FFA all four years of high school. Furthermore, she received the Ag Leadership
Award two years in a row. Lastly, she has contributed to her community with multiple
community service hours: she has been helping in the Sacred Heart Youth Group during the last
four years.

I give Dalia Abarca my highest recommendation with absolute confidence.

Sincerely,

Gerardo Guardado
