    10 Step Microscopy Checklist
    1. Remove, clean, and return slides.
    2. Bring stage to the lowest level.
    3. Return the 4x objective lens to the viewing position.
    4. Turn off the power switch.
    5. Clean objective lenses and eyepiece (lens papers and liquid).
    6. Fold the cord.
    7. Check with your instructor (report any problems).
    8. Replace the dust cover.
    9. Return to the storage shelf in numeric order.
    10. Clean your lab bench and wash your hands.
