Israeli-Palestinian conflict

where – Israel / Palestine (below)

when – after WWII. The conflict between Israelis and Palestinians is over who
gets what land and how it's controlled. In 20th century, Jews fleeing the
persecution in Europe wanted to establish a Jewish state on the land they
consider their ancient homeland. The Arab at the time resisted, saying the land
was theirs.

who between – Israeli Zionists and Palestinian nationalists

Not technically Civil war, but open hostilities and attacks between two states

The “war” mainly involves gangs of Palestinians shooting some Israelites, and the
Israelites brutally murdering many Palestinians in retaliation

Israel's practices had resulted in major human rights violations and abuses,
including brutalisation of children, torture, forcible transfers, and colonisation
of land. Palestine shot some nerds.

I do not think either side is in the right, because neither side wishes to
recognise the legitimacy of the others’ reasons and needs, due to Israel
refusing to recognise Palestine as a state, and Palestine refusing to give the
land they were entitled to by the UN.

I do not believe that there is one true way to resolve this conflict, other than
for the leading parties on both sides to finally agree where the boundaries are
and to not overstep them, as they have done in the past.

Other facts:

Total deaths: 5,600 Palestinians died. 250 Israelis died.

Land- as of today, Israel controls more than 85% of historical Palestine.
