1. WHAT ARE THE KEY CONCEPTS THAT YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS
SESSION?
In this session I learned about the basics things that we need to learn in Microsoft excel.
I learned about using formulas and functions, formatting, cells and references, data sorting and
filtering, charts and graphs, data validation and many more. It is really important that we know
and we have knowledge about basic Microsoft Excel because, it is really useful to us in many
ways, it can make our work easier and also we can make a better work outcome.
Microsoft excel is a powerful software program used for creating and managing
spreadsheets. By learning the basics of excel, you can master various essential functions and
features. First and foremost, understanding how to navigate through Excel’s user interface is
crucial. This includes knowing how to find and open files, as well as maneuvering between
different sheets and tabs within a workbook.
Next, you can learn to enter and format data effectively. Excel allows to input numbers,
text, and dates into cells, and you can modify the formatting of the content to emphasize or
organize your data. Additionally, knowing how to use basic formulas and functions is essential.
Excel provides a wide range of built-in mathematical and statistical functions that can perform
calculations and analyze data efficiently.
Another vital aspect is learning to create and manage tables and ranges. Tables allow for
structure and organized data, making it easier to sort, filter, and analyze information. You can
