My name is Mohin Khan, an Indian citizen bearing passport number Y9816974, and I am
enthusiastic about expanding my career horizons through higher education in Canada. With this
aspiration in mind, I am composing this Letter of Motivation to seek a student visa. Within this letter, I
aim to provide an overview of my academic background, elucidate the factors driving my program
selection, and convey my ambitions for the future upon successful completion of my studies.

Summary of Academic Background:


In 2021, I completed my matriculation with a commendable achievement of 9.80 GPA. This milestone
marked the beginning of my academic journey, instilling in me a sense of determination to excel
further in my studies. Two years later, in 2023, I completed my intermediate studies with subjects
chemistry, mathematics and physics.

Reasons for selecting an Associate of Arts degree:


My decision to pursue a 2-year Associate of Arts degree at the University Canada West is driven by a
combination of academic curiosity and strategic career planning. This program's interdisciplinary
nature aligns with my diverse interests and provides a well-rounded education that I believe is crucial

Language Proficiency and Financial Capabilities:


Regarding language proficiency, I have achieved an overall PTE score of 59 (Listening 64, Reading
53, Writing 57, Speaking 69), which fulfils the language proficiency requirement of the college for
my desired program. To ensure smooth financial arrangements, I have paid my entire tuition fee,
amounting to CAD $-------, and have also deposited CAD $------ into a Guaranteed Investment
Certificate (GIC) to cover my living expenses during my stay in Canada. My family has substantial
savings of CAD $------ to provide additional financial support for my academic and living expenses
while studying in Canada. Additionally, we possess immovable property in the form of a house,
further contributing to my financial stability during my time abroad.
Future Plans after completing my education in Canada:
Obtaining an associate's degree holds a promising outlook, notably featuring a lower unemployment
rate. The Associate of Arts program I will be pursuing is meticulously designed to offer me a well-
rounded education spanning various disciplines. It covers subjects ranging from mathematics and
language arts to natural sciences and the humanities, providing me with a diverse skill set and the
flexibility to delay making immediate career decisions. This flexibility is particularly advantageous for
individuals like myself who have plans to advance to a four-year bachelor's program for further
education.

With this degree in hand, a plethora of career opportunities open up before me. I can explore diverse
roles, such as a human resources manager, executive assistant, operations manager, creative
assistant, administrative assistant, or customer service representative, among others. This versatility
not only broadens my horizons but also equips me with the skills to navigate evolving job markets.
Given India's status as a developing nation with a growing demand for corporate leaders with
international exposure, the possibilities are truly limitless.

Upon my return to India, I have the option to further my studies in my desired field while actively
seeking employment. This dual approach, blending academic readiness with practical experience,

Returning to India after completing my studies in Canada is a decision deeply rooted in my strong
sense of family obligations. My parents have been the cornerstone of my support system, and their
unwavering encouragement and sacrifices for my education have shaped the person I am today. They
have always emphasized the importance of giving back to our community and being close to our
roots. Additionally, my extended family, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, have
played a significant role in my upbringing, providing a nurturing environment filled with love,
guidance, and cherished traditions. It is my heartfelt duty to reciprocate their care and support by
being present in their lives and actively participating in family events and gatherings. By returning to
India, I not only honour these familial bonds but also contribute to the continued strength and unity
of our family, which holds immeasurable value in my life. This decision is a testament to my enduring
commitment to the people who have shaped my journey and a sincere desire to repay their love and
support with my presence and active involvement in their lives.
