HVAC TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems
(Data Centre Precision Cooling units, DX comfort units e.t.c.). The HVAC technician will be skilled-in /
perform the following tasks: installations, preventive and corrective maintenances / repairs of HVAC
systems.

Customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient,
and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

 Installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems and equipment (Data Centre
Precision Cooling units, DX comfort units e.t.c.)
 Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
 Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
 Cleaning, adjusting and repairing of HVAC systems.
 Working with the support of HVAC Systems OEM on fresh installations and repairs.
 Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
 Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
 Generate reports for all preventive and corrective maintenance works carried-out.
 Carry-out prospective job surveys relating to HVAC systems and generate reports for same.
 Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
 Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
 Assisting with customers' queries.

HVAC Technician Requirements:

 Diploma in HVAC Systems or suitable equivalent.
 3 – 5 years working experience as an HVAC technician (Precision Cooling Systems)
 Willingness to continuous learning process on the job.
 Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
 Computer-literacy
 Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
 Ability to work in confined spaces.
 Ability to work at height.
