HOLY MASS

December 6, 2023

INTRODUCTORY RITE:

Commentator: INTRODUCTION

My dear Brothers and sisters, Good afternoon!

A warm and heartfelt welcome to each one of you as we gather today in the spirit of unity, love, and
reverence for our Holy Mass. We come together not merely as individuals but as a vibrant community bound
by faith, hope, and shared devotion.
Today's Mass is not just a ritual; it is a communal journey of faith. We bring our joys, our sorrows, and
our gratitude to this altar, seeking solace and guidance from the Almighty. Let the gentle whispers of our
prayers echo through these walls, creating a symphony of devotion that resonates with the heavens above.
In the moments ahead, let us surrender ourselves to the sacred rhythm of the Mass. Let the hymns uplift
our spirits, the readings enlighten our minds, and the Eucharistic celebration deepen our connection with the
divine. As we partake in this communal act of worship, may we find strength, solace, and a renewed sense of
purpose.
May this Holy Mass be a beacon of light, illuminating our paths with the grace of God. Let us open our
hearts wide to receive the blessings that flow abundantly in this sacred gathering.
Leading us in this sacred liturgy is Reverend Father Paul Jhon Banaybanay, guiding our hearts in a
celebration of gratitude and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.

LITURGY OF THE WORD

Gospel Reading: A reading from a book of Timothy

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, according to the promise of life, which is in Christ
Jesus. To Timothy my dearly beloved son, grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus
our Lord. I give thanks to God, whom I serve from my forefathers with a pure conscience, that without ceasing,
I have a remembrance of thee in my prayers, night and day.

Desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy, calling to mind that faith
which is in thee unfeigned, which also dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and in thy mother Eunice, and I am
certain that in thee also. For which because I admonish thee, that thou stir up the grace of God which is in thee,
by the imposition of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of
sobriety. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but labor with the
gospel, according to the power of God.
