A pleasant a day everyone!

Today marks a momentous occasion as we gather here to witness the official launch of a new
chapter in the rich tapestry of our esteemed institution. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I
stand before you as the Office of the Student Affairs Coordinator to make this declaration.

You've witnessed their presentation of Kata a while ago. It is indeed, that Karate is not only for self-
defense but to practice self-discipline, foster respect, cultivate physical and mental strength, and instill
a sense of community and camaraderie. The demonstration we just witnessed is a testament to the
dedication and skill of the members of the STMS OZUKU Karatedo Club.

Karatedo is a discipline that transcends the boundaries of mere physical exercise. It is a way of life,
teaching its practitioners not only how to protect themselves but also how to navigate life with
integrity, humility, and a strong sense of purpose. The values instilled by the practice of Karate align
seamlessly with the principles that our institution holds dear.

I had the privilege of witnessing the dedication and hard work of the members during their first
training session on September 1, 2023. The commitment demonstrated by both the members and the
instructors, Ms. Caballes and Shihan Mr. Elumbaring, was truly commendable during their
probationary period. It was inspiring to see the passion and effort they invested in honing their skills
and fostering a sense of camaraderie within the club.

It is with great pleasure that, on behalf of the institution, I officially declare that the STMS OZUKU
Karatedo Club is now recognized as one of the clubs and organizations of this institution. This
recognition signifies not only the establishment of a club but also the acknowledgment of the club's
commitment to promote discipline, respect, and well-being among its members.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the founding members and everyone who has been
instrumental in bringing the STMS OZUKU Karatedo Club to fruition. As we welcome this new
addition to our roster of clubs, let us all embrace the spirit of Karate – the spirit of discipline,
perseverance, and unity. May the STMS OZUKU Karatedo Club flourish and become a source of
inspiration and empowerment for all its members. Thank you, and may the spirit of Karatedo guide us
on this exciting journey ahead.
