Title: Installing and exploring Linux based operating system in virutal machine.
Introduction:

Linux is an open-source, Unix-like operating system kernel that serves as the foundation for a
variety of free and open-source software distributions. Developed collaboratively by a community of
developers worldwide, Linux is renowned for its stability, security, and versatility, making
it a popular choice for server environments and embedded systems. It provides a robust and
customizable environment, empowering users to tailor their systems to specific needs. VirtualBox, on
the other hand, is a powerful open-source virtualization software that enables users to run multiple
operating systems on a single physical machine. Developed by Oracle, VirtualBox supports a wide
range of guest operating systems, including various versions of Windows, Linux, macOS, and more.

Objectives:

The objective of utilizing Linux and VirtualBox is to leverage the strengths of an open-source, versatile
operating system in conjunction with a robust virtualization platform. Linux, being open-source,
provides users with the flexibility to customize their computing environment, ensuring stability and
security. VirtualBox extends this flexibility by enabling the virtualization of multiple operating systems
on a single physical machine. The goal is to create a dynamic and scalable computing environment,
facilitating tasks such as software development, testing, and running diverse applications. This
combination allows users to harness the benefits of both Linux and VirtualBox for efficient resource
utilization, streamlined development processes, and seamless management of multiple operating systems
within a virtualized environment.

Procedure:

At First Download virtual Box then Download Ubuntu Now open virtual box and Create new virtual
machine. The memory size I have to use 5124MB. Store on physical hard disk dynamically allocated.
I use 100GB File location and size. Then click start try or install ubuntu and use the user name is Nihad
that’s way install ubuntu.
