What is the covid-19 epidemic?

Covid-19 is the name of the contagious epidemic caused by the emerging corona,
and the virus first appeared in December 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and
the disease was identified in January, following symptoms that appeared on
group of patients.
The epidemic first appeared in market foe seafood and animals, and then moved
from it to the rest of the cities of Hubei province, and from there to the provinces
of China and then to the rest of the world.

What are the symptoms of the disease?


The most common symptoms are fever, cough, shortness of breath and fatigue,
but in advanced cases the patient may develop pain, stuffy nose, cold, sore
throat, and diarrhea.
80% of the people infected with the virus recover without the need for special
treatment, and one out of every six people infected with “Covid-19” is severe
from and finds it difficult to breath, and 20% of cases can be treated in hospital
and the disease affects elderly people over the age of 60 more than others the
virus can lead to death for patients suffering from chronic diseases such as a
pressure, heart disease, and diabetes and those who suffer from high
temperature ,coughing and shortness of breath must obtain medical support.

How does the virus spread?


The COVID-19 epidemic is transmitted by people being exposed to droplets of sick
people resulting from coughing, sneezing and by touching them to the mouth,
noise and eyes by touching the hands to surfaces containment with droplets that
carry the virus.

Is the virus transmitted through the air?


All scientific studies conducted so far show that “Covid19” is the transmitted
through droplets not the air.
Do antibiotics affect the prevention of disease?
Antibiotics don't affect viruses but only bacteria and because COVID-19 is caused
by virus antibiotics shouldn't be caused to prevent or treat it.

Is there an effective vaccine or treatment to prevent the


disease?
Yes, there are many vaccines now and including Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and other
vaccines and there is a new treatment in the form of bells from Pfizer.

What should you do when you get infected with corona?


In the beginning prevention method must be adhered to such as wearing a mask,
washing hands, not touching things and using sanitizer. if the infection occurs the
examination must be carried out and if they result appears positive the person
must be self-isolated for a period of 10 days and inform the healthy center of the
infection if symptoms and decrease the person must call 999 or 111 at the
emergency.
