EAM Meter Reading Form

Hi Everyone Hope every-buddy will be fine and in the best of your health and spirit. I have 2 questions regarding
Meter Reading. 1 - I am working on R12 and unable to find the Meter Reading form in Enterprise Asset
Management Super User Responsibility. What could be the reason? Please let me know ASAP. 2 - In order to
enter the opening Meter Readings in Meter Reading form then what meter reading should be entered in Meter
definition form? For Example, Meter Name = Meter 1 Activity = 24 Hrs Existing reading of meter of the asset
currently running = 24000 km Now how this meter would be defined in the system so that next activity will be

Hi,
You can view the meter after you have associate them to an Asset.
the n go to Aset Number and view Meters.

you need to Assign meter to asset Numbers in Asset
Numbers(if you have already created a meter in meters form) or caan assign
Asset numbers in meter formin EAM responsibility. If You have a meter
termplate Attached to Asset group there is even no need to create a meter
seperately, a meter is automatically created once you define an asset number
with template and Group Relation. To find the meter screen Goto to Super
user responsibility > Assets tab > Mass meter Readings.

2.2 - In order to enter the opening Meter Readings in Meter Reading form
then what meter reading should be entered in Meter definition form?
For Example,
Meter Name = Meter 1
Activity = 24 Hrs
Existing reading of meter of the asset currently running = 24000 km
Now how this meter would be defined in the system so that next activity will
be forecasted in the MWB after 24 hrs i.e. 24024km.
It depends on the initial date, Rate per day and No of Past
Readings. If my understanding is correct of your scenario,you need to create
a work order every 24 hrs(per day) or at every 24 kms(as mentioned in
example).Your usage rate will be 24 kms if you have used UOM as KM. If the
Usage rate is same for all days You can use No of past readings as 1. the
Scheduling engine will only consider 1 day to calculate the usage rate and
work order will be created every 24 kms.

Enter Initial reading 24000 km in
Mass meter readings page and there after the Daily rates(24024-24000=24
kms), and your next reading is 24 kms work order will be generated for 24024
kms since your no of past readings is 1.
I am not sure what UOM is used for your meter. You can do this
setup if your UOM is KMs.
