Educational Trip 2024

As another school year started, an educational trip is what I am looking

forward to. Last Thursday, I was excited because it was the day of our educational
trip. As I woke up early, I couldn't hide my excitement about the trip. Around 4 am,
the school service made its rounds on the students who will join the trip. When I
arrived at the school, I excitedly looked for my classmates to join them as we waited
for the teachers to tell us that we needed to ride the bus.

We first went on Intramuros. You can see the historical value of the place on
how rich memories are. We also went to Manila Cathedral and Saint Augustine
Church. Manila Cathedral is very big and beautiful. Even though it is old, the beauty
of the church remains. As we stopped there to take photos, I also offered my prayer
to God. In the church, you can feel how sacred the place is and how the Catholics
respect the place as the body of Christ is celebrated here. Just like in Manila
Cathedral, you can feel the sacredness of the place. It is also solemn even if it is old.

Next, we went to the National Library. Just like normal libraries, the National Library
is quiet as it intended to be. The National Library holds a lot of copies on how we got
history, on what are the writings or stories that are sitting in our country. As we went
to the National Library, we watched a storytelling and puppet show. Some of our
schoolmates and teachers participated in the small activities that they prepared. It
was a lot of fun anyway.
Third, we went to the Martyrdom of Jose Rizal. It is also called Rizal Park or Luneta
Park. This place holds history for us Filipinos because it is an honor for our National
hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

Lastly, we went to Star City, the place where we look forward to. Star City is different
since it was just renovated. In Star City, I rode the Flying Fiesta and Carousel. I
enjoyed it so much and I also bought a toy.

As we go home, a smile on my face is plastered and as I tell it to my mother, the

smile is not fading on my face as well as the learnings I had on our educational trip.
