FAQ

What do these numbers mean?

The percentiles break down how you compare to other athletes at your level in each metric. 80th percentile
means that your number falls in the top 20 percent. You likely won’t be 99th percentile on everything, and
your overall score will reflect that - but that doesn’t mean you can’t throw very hard or perform at a high
level. Pay attention to the standards - and try to get all of your metrics over those standards. You don’t have
to run a 6.2 or squat 550 lbs to throw hard - but you should aim to be at or above the standards that we have

What is the Tread Standard based on?

These standards are based on our recommended prerequisites for top-tier velocity at each level (low 90s high
school arms, low to mid 90's college arms and mid 90's+ pro arms). Hitting these training metrics doesn’t
guarantee you will be throwing this hard, but the goal is to check off as many metrics as you can that these
throwers tend to have in common. Mobility, mechanics and more also factor into your performance, which is
beyond the scope of this free tool. Email us for more information on how to get a mobility and mechanical
