Role play activities like ‘character play’ and ‘situation building,’

Scenario 1:
Samson has joined a college recently. He is living in the hostel provided by the college. For 3 days now,
Rajan has not slept properly due to bed bugs. He has made an official complaint to the warden but
nothing has been done. Now, he is wishes to verbally complaining to the administrator about the same.

Scenario 2:
Mary is a 2nd year B.Tech student. For the forthcoming exams, she had borrowed the notes from Marco
who is a bright student. Marco was hesitant to give the notes, as he knows Mary is careless. As Mary
was a close friend, Marco gave his notes. Unfortunately, she lost the notes. Now, she has to convey the
same to Marco.

Scenario 3:
Ben has seen an advertisement of a 2 bed room flat on rent which he is interested in. The current room
is though near his office, yet lacks cleanliness and compromises on basic amenities. This advertised
room is few kilometers far from his office but promises to provide the amenities. Now Ben is on
telephone speaking to the owner Rakesh and finding out more details about the flat.

Scenario 4
Kiara is waiting for her turn in the second round of an interview. While she is waiting, she strikes a
conversation with Ken who has already completed his second round.

Scenario 5
Susan is usually a high performer however, past few weeks she has not been performing up to her
potential due to which the team is lagging in the project. Her manager Marc decides to have a 1-1
meeting with Susan to find out the root cause.
Scenario 6
Naomi has completed his graduation with 65%. Now, its time to apply for jobs. She discusses about job
opportunities with Ric who is a senior as well as a placement officer for a college.

Scenario 7:
Harry has completed her B.Tech with distinction. He is in a dilemma whether to go for higher studies or
work. He approached John who is the HOD for advice.

Scenario 8:
Neil and team has recently completed a project successfully. The client is happy with the output
however the team faced quite number of co-ordination issues, which Neil would like to address in this
team meeting.

SWOT Analysis was done in that class for all students
