Advent of Love
JESUS GIVES LOVE!
Do you like to receive gifts?
Many people give each other
gifts at Christmas when we
celebrate the birth of Jesus,
God’s promised Savior King.
This reminds us that God
loves us and gave his Son to
be our Savior.
Let’s read Luke 2:1-20
Jesus coming to earth as a
baby was the greatest act
of love ever. He could
have stayed in Heaven,
but he chose to become a
tiny, helpless human baby
boy so that you and I
could be brought back into
fellowship with God.
Jesus doesn’t just give love… he is love!
Read 1 John 4:8b.
Love is who Jesus
is. He showed this
epic love by dying
on the cross and
coming back to life
to make the only
way for you to be
saved from sin.

1. Who loved first? God or us?
2. How did God show that he loves us?
3. Who is God’s Son?
4. What did Jesus do to show how much he loves us?
5. How is God's love better than our love?
