Printing and Assembly Guide

Welcome to the printing and assembly guide for Printing Guide accompanying your stl files, we will
Starship: Transport Delta from 2nd Dynasty. In outline the options for printing as well as how to
this guide, which is a complement to the general put your transport together.

A Note on OpenLOCK
We use the OpenLOCK clip from Printable Scenery. The clip is available for
free from their website:
https://www.printablescenery.com/product/open-lock/

Overview
The craft is printed in two sections, the interior,
which is modular, and can be built using a variety
of OpenLOCK compatible tiles available from 2nd
Dynasty, and the exterior, which combines using
OpenLOCK Clips. The top of the exterior is designed
to detach from the bottom, allowing a cutaway
look at the transport floor plan.

Exterior
The exterior of the craft is composed of a variety of larger parts that require some assembly. No glue is
necessary, as everything fits together with OpenLOCK parts.

Print Settings
The transport prints well at 150 microns.

Supports
Parts should be orientated for optimal printing, make sure to add supports where needed to overhanging
sections. If you are having adhesion issues to the build plate, we recommend the use of a raft.

Assembly

1 Start by snapping the lower sections together in segments:

2 Then put the two halves together and finish with the cockpit.

3 Assemble the main thrusters.

4 Turn the transport’s lower hull upside down and assemble the landing
gears.

7 Starship: Transport Delta

5 Place the assembled floor plan in the lower fuselage.

8 Starship: Transport Delta

6 Assemble the upper fuselage.

7 Finish with the cockpit and the shield generator.

9 Starship: Transport Delta

8 Assemble the airlock ring and door. Do the same with the turret and turret
ring. Clip them to their parts.

9 And then you have completed the assembly.

Interior
The interior is modular. This means essentially, you can combine interior parts to be whatever you like.
