This Authority is hereby issued pursuant to COA Memorandum No. 2023-013 dated December 11,
2023, provided no government funds will be used for the purpose. Attention is also invited to the
pertinent provisions ofCOA Memorandum No. 85-340-A dated January 15, 1985, which states that:

"b. An official or an employee who goes on approved leave of absence and fails to return to work
within one month from the date of the expiration of his leave without reasonable or valid cause
despite due notice pursuant to the provisions of par. 2 (a) hereof shall likewise be dropped from
the rolls, provided that par. 4 (a) has been complied with."

It is understood that this Authority may be revoked anytime if the interest of the service so requires.
