This research was conducted because of the findings in the field in the form
that there are still many technological devices in the learning process that are not
utilized optimally, learning models tend to be teacher-centered only and also from the
process of analyzing teaching materials that are being used in the learning process in
class IV of elementary school. Based on the problems found during the initial
observation, the teacher must be able to utilize technology and existing facilities and
infrastructure in schools to support a fun and meaningful learning process for
students. In this research, the aim of developing teaching materials is to create an
integrated thematic teaching material based on project learning with the help of the
book creator application in grade IV elementary schools that is valid, practical and
effective. development research using the Borg and Gall model, which consists of
seven steps taken from Sugiyono's opinion, including potentials and problems, data
collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial stage,
product revision. The data collection process which was at the validity testing stage
was obtained through data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets for
teaching materials and lesson plans which were given to five validators who were
competent in their fields. Based on the validation test, the results show that the
teaching materials developed are in the very valid category range with an average
value of 93.85%. Whereas for the practicality test using two instruments, namely the
teacher response questionnaire sheet with an average value of 86.11% and the student
response questionnaire 86.16% so that it can be said based on the practicality test the
teaching materials developed are practical teaching materials. Furthermore, testing
the effectiveness of teaching materials based on the level of activeness of students
who are at 85.79% is in the very active category, and the cognitive value of students
is at 82.73% where this value is above the minimum completeness criterion of 70, so
that the material The developed teaching materials are effective teaching materials.
Based on the results of three tests carried out in development research, namely

validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests, it was concluded that integrated thematic
teaching materials with the PjBL model based on the book creator application in
grade IV of elementary schools are valid, practical, and effective teaching materials.
So that it becomes an alternative teaching material that is able to present meaningful
learning to students.
