PAPER ID # 185
A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF STRESS MANAGEMENT APPROACHES AMONG
PROFESSIONAL GRADUATES
Dr. Janani R1*
1Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Enathur, Kanchipuram , India

Abstract: This research paper aims to illuminate the nuanced landscape of stress
management among professional graduates. The primary objective is to provide a
descriptive analysis of how stress is navigated within this demographic. The study pursues
four specific objectives to achieve this overarching goal. Firstly, an exploration of the
multifaceted aspects influencing stress on professional graduates is conducted. By
identifying and dissecting these factors, the research aims to offer a comprehensive
understanding of the diverse triggers contributing to stress in the professional sphere. The
second objective revolves around delineating the types of stress that professional graduates
frequently encounter. Through a meticulous examination of common stressors, the study
seeks to categorize and characterize the nature of stressors prevalent in the professional
lives of graduates. The third facet of the research investigates the consequences faced by
professional graduates due to stress. By unraveling the impact of stress on both personal
and professional dimensions, the study sheds light on the tangible and intangible outcomes
of heightened stress levels. Lastly, the research probes into the diverse types of stress
management strategies employed by professional graduates. Through an exploration of
adaptive mechanisms, coping strategies, and resilience-building techniques, the study
aims to showcase the varied approaches utilized by graduates to effectively manage
different types of stress. By achieving these objectives, the research not only contributes to
the academic understanding of stress management among professional graduates but also
provides practical insights for the development of targeted interventions and support
systems to enhance the overall well-being of this critical demographic.
Keywords: Stress, meticulous examination, resilience-building.

PAPER ID # 187
CLASSIFICATION OF ATRIAL FIBRILLATION, ANTERIOR INFARCTION, AND
VENTRICULAR BIGEMINY HEART DISEASES USING DEEP LEARNING
Yobah Bertrand Yonkou1, Francis Densil Raj V2, Sivakannan Subramani3*
1,2,3St. Joseph's University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Abstract: Cardiovascular Heart disease (CVD) is the world's prime cause of disabilities and
deaths. As seen in the World Heart Report of 2023, CVDs claimed around 20.5 million lives
in 2021. CVDs when not treated at their early stage often end up in heart failure. Early
detection of CVDs is crucial for the prevention of escalation and the reduction of the
number of deaths caused by it. Among all CVDs, this paper focuses on the classification of
Normal, Atrial Fibrillation, Anterior Infarction, and Ventricular Bigeminy CVDs. A dataset
of 9115 ECGs was filtered from the MIMIC-IV v1.0 dataset. The dataset used contains 4
classes namely Normal, Atrial Fibrillation, Anterior Infarction, and Ventricular Bigeminy,
where each class represents the diagnosis of a particular set of ECG signals. Each ECG
signal was preprocessed and made ready for feature extraction. After feature extraction,
features were selected using a correlation matrix. In this study, four algorithms have been
compared on the dataset, namely “Random Forest (RF)”, “K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN)”,
“Gradient Boosting (GB)” and “Artificial Neural Network (ANN)”. ANN outperformed the
other models. The accuracy values for RF, KNN, GB and ANN are 92.7%, 83.8%, 83.2% and
93.5%, respectively.

Keywords: CVD, ECG, atrial fibrillation
