What should you do during an earthquake?

ENGAGE
 Begin by showing an intriguing image or video clip of a fault to capture students' attention.
 Ask students to brainstorm what they know about faults and what they think a fault might look like.
 Encourage them to share any personal experiences related to faults or earthquakes.

EXPLORE
 Display different images of faults on the board and ask students to identify the visible
features of each type.
 Encourage them to describe the faults and its direction.
 Guide a class discussion about the distinguishing characteristics of various types of faults.

EXPLAIN
 Present a brief lecture or interactive discussion on the fault formation.
 Introduce the concepts of tectonic plate movement within the Earth's crust.

ELABORATE
- Divide students into small groups and provide each group with a block of woods.
- Each group will identify the type of fault using block of woods
- Each group will describe the type of fault and its direction.
