BTVTED-ET 1
Week 1
(September 6 & 8, 2022)
The topic of several learning styles was first addressed this past week in
ET 111. We have discussed the eight various types of learning styles that can
be seen in the classroom, along with their accompanying definitions and
remedial measures. Along with the importance of ensuring student success,
we also discussed how evaluation tools should be used in the classroom.
The topic of learning styles and how each student approaches learning
differently was the first subject we covered. It was my responsibility to
carry out tasks and respond to questionnaires. Regardless of learning style,
I utilize CAT to explain student learning through teaching and interaction. I
discovered that a technique for classroom evaluation had been used. There
is a widespread belief that information and communication technology (ICT)
can empower educators and pupils. To improve student learning outcomes
and provide opportunities for learners to develop creativity, problem-
solving, knowledge, and other abilities, teaching and learning techniques must
shift from being teacher-centered to being student-centered. It exists.
Learning styles can be classified into eight different categories which is
visual, verbal, logical, auditory, social, interpersonal, physical and
naturalistic. Depending on the learner's preferred manner of learning, this
type of learning involves a lot of hands-on activities. Teaching evaluations
analyze both the learner's preferred learning style and their comprehension
of the most recent topic presented.
Week 2
(September 13 & 15, 2022)

Before getting ready to express the knowledge gained from the prior
conversation aloud this week, the instructor will outline the emphasis on
content analysis. The process of categorizing and organizing the material
allows for its presentation to students in a progressive, continuous, and
appropriate manner. Content analysis aids educators in effectively and
efficiently educating students. The lecturer gave the class 15 minutes to
read the module before having each student recite it aloud with the class
and share our thoughts about what we had learned. Teachers can more
effectively decide what kinds of media work best for delivering content to
students by better understanding the many categories of knowledge (facts,
concepts, procedures, and metacognition). Then, by developing our own
content analyses, we brought the theme full circle. You have chosen topics
that pertain to your major, decided on the knowledge structure they should
be placed in, and chosen the media that will be utilized to convey the
information. And Finally, I gave an explanation of why I selected the solution
I did.
Week 3
(September 20 & 22, 2022)
We introduced method analysis this week, but that's something else, methods,
ordered by participation. Different ways to share knowledge, Synthesis, and
Performance. Depending on the module, it is important to use one method for
knowledge, one method for synthesis, and one method for teaching performance.
In this way, student participation is greatly increased and more effective and
active at learning. At the end of the week, we gave an oral presentation.
Methods and principles that must be considered. Additionally, they were
instructed to contrast and compare various approaches and talk about this in
class. I now understand that in order for every student to learn properly, every
class should use a variety of teaching and learning techniques. And there are a
lot of reasons why it's crucial to use a variety of instructional strategies in
each course. The learning process can first be shared with all students. It is
more likely that pupils will pay attention in class and remember material when
they actively participate. We also make certain that every student learns in a
way that complements their learning styles and areas of strength by utilizing a
variety of teaching approaches. All students can thrive by using a variety of
instructional techniques. Some students learn best by attending lectures, while
others enjoy doing hands-on work and observing their classmates. In addition, a
number of techniques are employed to assist teachers in gaining a general
grasp of a student's comprehension and identifying areas that require
additional instruction.
Week 4
(September 29 & October 4, 2022)

The subject for this week was rather different from those of the past. The
hardware and software of ICT used in the classroom are covered in this
topic. The technology and software that are specifically employed for
instructional reasons are introduced to us in this lecture. The lecture
concluded with an oral recitation of everything we had learned, including the
differences with the provided example. The lessons I took away from this
week were all about the requirements that improve learning. You will be
more prepared for the future if you are exposed to a variety of ICT
hardware and software, especially if you want to work in offices or the
business sector. Also I learned about the resources that are available. It
can be utilized in a classroom to impart knowledge or teach, I discovered
there are numerous hardware ICT resources available in the lecture hall.
Computers are some of the most popular. smartphones, PC parts/laptops,
Smart TVs, Digital cameras, speakers, cable wires, connectors, projectors
and other parts of hardware. And also software is the application and
programming instructions that tells the computer what to do. such as MS
office like word, powerpoint, excel. also browsers, social media apps and
mobile apps. These sources may include used in a variety of ways to
support teaching and learning.
Week 5
(October 6 & 13, 2022)
In this week, Our instructor introduced ICT tools and resources to the
class, enhancing both teaching and learning. have tools for teamwork, tools
for gathering information, manipulating information, communicating, and
exposing students to the application of knowledge in the actual world. The
goal of the education provided by these tools is to generate competent
students who are ready for professional professions through the use of
both classic and modern educational methods. Online communication tools,
instructional platforms, and collaboration tools are only a few of the ICT
resources and technologies offered by our instructor. ICT can affect
students' academic performance when teachers are computer literate and
aware of how to incorporate technology into the curriculum. Schools
employ a wide range of ICT tools to manage, create, distribute, and store
information. These resources are intended to improve learning and facilitate
communication between students and teachers. These tools make it simpler
for students to access educational resources, work more productively with
peers, and interact with teachers. The use of ICT resources increases the
effectiveness and fun of teaching and learning for all parties involved in
addition to giving people the tools they need to promote and develop these
abilities.
Week 6
(October 18 & 20, 2022)
This week, the topic of using technology in the classroom—as well as its application,
significance, and definition—was covered. It was highlighted that technology should be
viewed as a tool to aid learning rather than as a replacement for quality instruction.
Additionally, we are aware that in today's increasingly modern culture, exposure to
technology aids pupils in developing their sense of self. A fantastic learning environment
can be created by utilizing technology's conveniences and advantages for students. If
implemented appropriately, technology in the classroom can be quite advantageous.
Students can benefit from technology in the classroom in a variety of ways, including by
fostering identity development, offering comfort, and enhancing learning. However, it's
crucial to keep in mind that technology should be utilized in conjunction with quality
education, not as a substitute for it. When used properly, technology may give your
pupils a well-rounded and more pleasurable educational experience. Technology is
crucial in the classroom, as it enables teachers to give students meaningful and
dynamic learning experiences. Teachers can provide interesting and inspiring learning
experiences for their pupils by utilizing technology such as computers, projectors, and
software packages. Technology also makes it easier for teachers to monitor and
evaluate the progress of their students. Although there are many advantages to using
technology in the classroom, it's crucial to consider how to do it efficiently. Instead
than replacing education, technology should be used to supplement and improve it. Prior
to employing technology for assignments and evaluations in the classroom, it is crucial
to give students plenty of practice using it. Technology used wisely may enhance
classroom engagement and student learning.
Week 7
(November 3 & 8, 2022)
Images and their potential for communication were the topic of our discussion this week. We
discovered that images might be actual physical images captured by a camera, mirror, etc., or
they can be imagined or mental images created inside the mind. Additionally, we discovered that
visual and non-textual communication can be done using images. Images provide for excellent
means of information communication since they are interesting, entertaining, and simple to
interpret. An infographic is the best example of picture communication. Infographics are files
and documents that present information and make use of images to do so. Inform the
audience, Shapes, lines, colors, and/or textures, among other elements, must be infographics
made with this in mind. Lines are recognized as the fundamental element of an image, drawing,
painting, etc., and they define the characteristics of an infographic. Lines can also be used to
define shapes and figures, as well as to represent motion, emotion, and other elements. Lines,
according to Wikipedia, are marks in space between two points that allow a viewer to visualize
stroke movement, direction, and intention based on how the line is oriented. Line is the first and
most versatile visual element, and it serves as the foundation for all visual presentations. Lines
can be solid, dashed, thick, straight, or curved. It's used to add structure, frame information, or
divide it. The colors come next; in infographics, color gives the visual a sense of life. Presentation
because it has the most powerful, powerful, or influential element. It is the element we use to
create the mood or atmosphere of an infographic in order to attract attention even more,
especially with the right color combination that passersby and glancing viewers can notice.
Colors in infographics have different meanings that could imply information to the viewers.
When presenting an infographic to a formal or business matter, we must be mindful of the
color we choose because it may pique the interest of others. Finally, infographic shapes
express psychological influences on the viewer. Audience, especially when combined with various
colors.
Week 8
(November 10 & 15, 2022)
This week, audio and video, two new forms of communication, were
introduced to us. Humans interact with technology in a variety of ways by
employing various technological devices. The most powerful message can be
conveyed by combining these two communication methods. They are under
the category of time-based media and can be used to improve activities like
listening to music, or making presentations etc. The distinction between
synchronous and asynchronous communication was also covered.
Synchronous communication occurs in real-time communication between
two devices whereas Asynchronous communication is a type of
communication in which one person provides information and then there is a
time lag before the recipients process the information as response. simply
put, asynchronous communication does not occur in real time. Along with
learning about the software tools needed to edit them, we also studied
about the various audio and video formats. Audio file formats are a type
of file that is used. As a method of storing digital audio data on a
computer, Video file formats are examples of video formats that focus on
high quality video streaming for use over the internet.
Week 9
(November 17 & 19, 2022)
This week, we dicussed about text and data. Computer-mediated communication became possible
as soon as we connected to technology. Popular way of interaction. Text refers to the act of
composing and sending electronic messages, typically consisting of alphabetic and numeric
characters, between two or more users of mobile phones, PC's, laptops, etc., whereas
communication refers to the act or process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors to
express information or to express one's ideas, thoughts, feelings, etc., to someone else. According
to the lesson, textual communication is no longer limited to letters; it also includes texts, social
media posts, and huge billboard signs. It simply states that textual communication is a type of
nonverbal communication that can be read or viewed by using the corresponding written
characters. When communicating via text, a variety of applications can be used to edit texts,
including word processors, notepads, simple text, etc. For instance, if we wanted to invite someone
who was far away to dinner, we could send them messages via text or, more formally, encode the
text in an email and send it to them. After that, we have the Data, which is information that a
computer has processed or stored. A person's creations are preserved as data, whether they are
in the form of written documents, photographs, audio files, or other formats. Data comes in many
forms, including logical (or Boolean) data, date and time data, alphabetic data, and numeric data.
Data that can be measured and is consistently gathered as numbers are called numerical data. A
number can be an integer, a real number, a currency, or a percentage, among others. I learned that
Alphanumeric information, such as alphanumeric passwords, is information that combines both
numbers and letters. The date and time information comes next; this information is constructed in
a precise manner, but it is dependent on how the computer is configured, what software is being
used, and what the user prefers. Last but not least, the Boolean (logical) data, which is
information that is logically inclined and is meant to represent two values. Additionally, data can be
presented in a variety of ways, including images, text, audio, and videos, all of which have been
discussed in other journals. A quiz marked the end of the week.
Week 10
(December 01, 2022)
This week, Browsers and Browsing will be covered in this final class. But before we move on
to the main topic, we must first comprehend the distinction between the Internet and the
Web, as well as their respective histories and modes of operation. A network of networked
computers or a worldwide connectivity of networks is the Internet. The web, on the other
hand, is a repository of data that is accessible via the Internet. Also take note of the
distinction between a website and a web page. A website is a collection of web pages with
particular information offered by a person or organization. You can access it via the URL.
Documents, on the other hand, are written in HTML and contain graphics, text, and hyperlinks.
What I've learned is that a browser is a piece of software that enables access, browse, and
download data from the web. This got me thinking about the past, before the internet and
browsing were invented. Back then, people who were seeking information frequently wrote and
read books because it took a long time to find the information they needed. Today, however,
all you have to do is click on the Internet to instantly find the information you need, and with
just one click, your question will be resolved. Additionally, it enables us to communicate with
others around the globe. I also discovered that the internet has many facets and influences
our life in many different ways. There are various sections of the internet, and each of them
serves a particular function. The URL, or uniform resource locator, is the first component. The
URL is the address of a particular web page or other item. The second component is HTTP, or
hypertext transfer protocol. Information is transferred from one computer to another via
the HTTP protocol. The HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, is the third component. Web
pages are made using the HTML programming language. Web browsers, the software we use
to access the internet, make up the fourth component. Our manner of living and working has
been completely changed by the power of the internet.
