    MMA: An abbreviation for mixed martial arts, a combat sport in which
    athletes from different martial arts disciplines compete. MMA includes
    disciplines like boxing, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, wrestling, sambo (it is
    similar in many ways to judo and jiu jitsu but also incorporates different
    types of wrestling and various self-defence systems. The name "SAMBO"
    derives from the Russian acronym SAMozashchita Bez Oruzhiya, which
    literally means "self-defence without weapons)., judo, tae-kwon-do and
    karate.
    UFC: Ultimate Fighting Championship, the most prominent fight promotion
    in MMA, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Las Vegas, with Dana White
    as president.
