specific the populated and far off areas. Customary , rural development
used to be centred on now not the use of nicely the herbal resources
where we can remember on forestry and agriculture. But in at current ,
the growing of urbanization and the change in a world manufacturing
networks have modified the nature of rural areas.

Rural development still stand out as the overall development of the

country. More than-third of the u . s . human beings who are established
on agriculture for their own living. It is government’s duty to be more
responsible so that better facilities can be produced and also people
get the standard living.

enhancement of the rural areas to beautify the economy, some areas
have their private new initiatives that desire attention;

are based in rural areas , but everyone from the country.

a than days earlier than in the procedure of changing the nation. It is the
plan that tries to incorporate a pleasant a productiveness, higher socio-
economic equality, ambition and balance in social and financial
development.

The predominant project is to limit the famine that exists in roughly about
70% of the rural populace , and to make adequate and fitness y foods
handy.

The secondary project is to make sure that availability of clothes and

footwear , easy locations and domestic , scientific interest , activity
provision , schooling ,transport and communication.
4.2 DEVELOPMENT INFRASTRUCTURE

In rural areas , infrastructure is lacking.

Infrastructure improvement such as electricity , irrigation , credit score ,

advertising and marketing and advertising and marketing , transportation
and so on , should be addressed. Electricity is very scarce in rural areas
due to the fact there is poverty there. A lack of assets , lack of political
will , terrible planning and electrical energy theft is some predominant
instances that have resulted in many villages of rural areas going barring
electricity. While the urban areas appears like having an increase in
electrical energy consumption and capacity.
REDUCTION OF POVERTY

Reduction of poverty is fundamental because rural areas have the

excessive charge of poverty. Approximately 30% of the population is
poor , this figure fell to 21,92% in 2012. There is an urgent that is up to
Measures to alleviate poverty. Pandemic COVID 19 exacerbated their
already precarious situations by lowering the income , restricting the
mobility and jeopardising the food security. Despite persistence rural
areas advantages , rural poverty is decreasing fast than urban poverty.
In all but one country , the rate of rural poverty reduction has been faster
than urban reduction poverty. However , reaching the most
impoverished people remain difficult. Over the last 30 years , developing
country have made little progress in raising the consumption levels of
the poorest – they have fallen behind.

DEVELOPMENT OF FACILITIES
Rural areas lack adequate health care , which is essential for individual’s
physical development. To produce higher health consequences and
increased social value. However, persevering with On the contemporary
path will no longer be ample to meet these demands. What is required
are excessive first-rate fitness system that optimise fitness care in all
context by consistently delivering care that enhance or preserve health ,
being valued and relied on by means of all humans , and responding to
changing population needs.

property need to be developed.

It will useful resource in the diversification of manufacturing things to do

with a purpose of finding an choice ability of survival of the other crops
cultivation.

There is a desire to improve the first class of human assets iin rural
areas , which can be performed by capability of growing literacy
charges ( especially girl literacy) , talents improvement , industrial

4.3 GOVERNMENT PROGRESS IN RESPECT OF RURAL

DEVELOPMENT
The department of rural development and land reforms has formed
number of programmes so that they could help those people who are In
need. They don’t want to be seen as people who does not think or take
care of they own people. The agri-parks programme will bring or put
forward the Economic change in rural areas and improve market for
smallholder farmers.

The natural rural youth service corps stays as important tool for making
the strong youth skill , they can be developed and employment. The
times of 2016/17 2 711 youth were enrolled towards the programme ,
people who were the majority in that recruitment it was the young
women.

The minister of rural development and land changes and MEC’s did
signed the agreement based on outcome 7 that was talking about
vibrant equitable , sustainable rural communities and food security for all
lists standards against which performance was estimated.
4.4 Steps that government can take to speed the process of development regarding
rural development.
Government haven’t done much regarding rural development process. This process
is very slowly, there are many rural areas who doesn’t have water, electricity, proper
roads, clinics are miles away, schools are miles away there is lack of clean water
and the quality of life is poor.
The only time they try developing rural areas it is only when election days are
approaching, otherwise there is a lot of corruption in municipalities. They don’t
deliver public services to the community, they distribute it among themselves.
Certain rural areas have been developed a little bit, they installed streetlights, tar
roads and people are provided with clean water.
First of all, government must eliminate all corruptive leaders in order to achieve his
objective of improving quality of life of people living in rural areas. Corruption, misuse
of public finances of the public slows down the process of rural development. Basic
needs of people should come first to government. Public officials involved in
corruption must be eliminated in the public sector since they made it hard for
government to achieve his objectives in a given time frame.
Municipalities should be under strict watch to prevent the issue of corruption so that
all the services will reach people. More people should be employed for construction
of new bridges, tar roads, schools, clinics, etc. By so doing, they will achieve their
objectives in a time frame they planned for.
