Introduction: this week students will be able to review house and rooms (living room; dining
room; bedroom; kitchen; bathroom; hall; balcony; upstairs; downstairs; garden); to learn some
furniture (mirror; sofa; bed; desk; lamp; armchair; door; window); to review prepositions (on;
under); to understand the key vocabulary (race; nap; win; finish line; forest; hurry) and
identify the characters (The Hare; The Tortoise; The Fox) from the reader

Warm up: welcome/good morning songs; mime games; “snowball” game; flashcards;
questions about previous topic.

Main Activity: name rooms in the house //learn new furniture vocabulary (mirror; sofa; bed;
desk; lamp; armchair; door; window) // learn grammar “There is/There are” and practice with
it // listen and read text “Sweet Home”; answer questions about it // prepositions revision //
listening and completing sentences // learn key vocabulary (race; nap; win; finish line; forest;
hurry) and the characters (The Hare; The Tortoise; The Fox) from the reader.
