Raid from the original version of the game sees players make their way through a
Blackrock Mountain raid to encounter Nefarian, son of Deathwing, the Destroyer
Dragon.

Blackwing Lair is a raid whose entrance is located in Searing Gorge, Eastern

Kingdoms.
The minimum level for this dungeon when it first came out was 85.
The only achievement you can get in this raid is for completing it.
There are no achievements awarded for individual boss encounters on any instance
difficulty.
Classic raids and dungeons only had one mode and that was normal. Heroic versions
of dungeons started in the Burning Crusade expansion but at least one person had to
have the heroic level key to the particular dungeon. Requiring a key was dropped in
the next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. Mythic level was introduced in Warlord
of Draenor expansion. Mythic+ was introduced in Legion expansion which followed
Warlords.
The end boss of Blackwing Lair is Nefarian.
Blackwing Lair can be played at normal and heroic levels.
Introduced when the game first came out, the raid sees players making their way
through the raid to kill Nefarian, a Black Dragon. Although you may kill Nefarian
here, he'll be back again later for revenge.

The entrance is hidden. When you go through the hole in the wall inside Blackrock
Mountain, you follow the path around till you get to an orb which you click on.
When you travel through the dungeon, pick up Hourglass Sands so you can cure the
Bronze spell; otherwise, it'll be a hindrance.

How to get to Blackwing Lair

(Non-Classic) The quickest way to Blackwing Lair from anywhere is to use your
Legion Dalaran Heathstone then use the faction portal to your capital city.

For Horde, you would use the portal to Silvermoon. Exit Silvermoon and use the
flight manager to get to the nearest flight point to the instance.
For Alliance, from Stormwind, use the flight manager from the front wall to fly to
the location you want to go to.
