    Procedure text is used to describe how something is
    accomplished through a sequence of actions of steps.
    Teks prosedur digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana
    sesuatu diselesaikan melalui serangkaian langkah tertentu.

    The structure is:


    ▪ Goal
    ▪ Materials (not required for all procedural texts)
    ▪ Steps 1–n (i.e. Goal followed by a series of steps oriented to
    achieve the goal)

    Language features:
    ▪ Simple present tense
    ▪ Imperatif sentence (negative or positive)
    ▪ Ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.)
    ▪ Expressions commonly used in giving manuals dan tips

    “ How to Make
    Garlic French Fries
    Steps:
    • First, clean and peel the potato,
    cut as big as little finger.
    • Then chop the garlic and chili.
    • After that, heat the butter on
    the frying pan, add garlic, salt
    and pepper, mix all of them and
    cook until it looks brownish.
    • Next, put the french fries to the Ingredients:
    frying pan and mix with the
    - 250gr potatoes
    spices.
    - 3 cloves garlic - butter - oil
    • Finally, serve the french fries. - salt - chili - pepper

    Directions:
    Step 1 You need: a printer
    Using a printer even basic printer is extremely
    easy to do. There are many different models of
    printers out there. The printer with everything
    on it works pretty much just like the regular
    printer you just have a lot more buttons to push.
