1. Did you voluntarily sought out Jobs Connect USA (JCU) to assist you in finding a teaching job
in the United States?
2. Do you have a teaching license in your home country?

3. Do you have at least 3 or more years of “full-time teaching experience in a classroom
setting”?
4. Do you have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education in your home country?
5. Are you of good character and standing in your community?
6. Does your educational background match with your teaching experience?
7. Are you proficient in the English language (both written and spoken)?
8. Have you submitted all the required educational and teaching credentials to JCU (Resume’,
Diploma/s, Transcript of Records, Teaching License, Verification of Employment, and
Passport)?
9. Are you mentally and emotionally ready for the challenges of being an international teacher
in the United States?
10. Applying to the United States as a teacher requires a lot of time, effort and financial
resources from the teacher candidate. Are you financially ready for this international teacher
application with Jobs Connect USA?
11. If you pass the JCU screening process, are you willing to sign a Job Offer Letter or contract
with our partner school district here in the United States?
12. Are you willing to sign a legal contract that binds you to our agency?
13. Are you willing to complete all steps required in the JCU teacher application process?
14. Jobs Connect USA is fully committed in finding and matching an international teacher to our
partner school district. We work diligently 24/7 to fulfill your dream of teaching in the United
States hence we expect commitment and loyalty from our teachers as well. If successful
during the JCU Interview, do you agree to only sign with Jobs Connect USA as your only
agency in the United States (signing with other agencies and applying to other agencies other
than JCU is a breach of JCU Contract)?
15. Have you been charged with any infractions, misdemeanors, felonies (minor or major
criminal offence)?
16. Are you currently signed or have a current application with another teacher agency?
17. Are you willing to pay for the JCU Interview Fee of $50 (candidates need to settle this fee
prior to the interview)?
